Zachary Parker is the both the ward 5 representative and president of the Washington, D.C. State Board of Education since January of 2019. In 2021, Zachary Parker announced his plan to run for the Ward 5 seat on the D.C. Council. The visual identity is meant to be both visual and informative, creating a balanced relationship between imagery and text on his literature. Parker’s new logo is kept simple yet maintains close ties with Washington, D.C. in the way it mimics the two stripes and three stars found on the D.C. flag.

The color palette consists of a traditional campaign blue, paired with an energetic orange, bringing focus to Parker’s energy and new ideas for the city of Washington, D.C.
